Abstract | The use of proteinases as targets to develop novel
chemotherapies against Leishmania spp. infections is a very
promising strategy. Based on a previous study by Goyal et al.
[J MolModel (2014) 20:2099], we discuss herein the idea that
only a combined treatment with distinct proteinase inhibitors
