Resumo
O projeto mostra a necessidade de implantar a vigilância em saúde de trabalhadores expostos a agrotóxicos nas ações de rotina da estratégia saúde da família (ESF) no município de Chã Grande, PE. Tendo o município como uma das principais fontes de renda a agricultura tradicional, que utiliza o agrotóxico como prática comum, surge a necessidade de ações que conscientizem os agricultores e a população em geral dos riscos a saúde e ao ambiente quanto ao uso dos agrotóxicos. Estando o Brasil entre os países que mais utilizam agrotóxicos no mundo, o Ministério da Saúde, dentre outras ações, criou o Plano Integrado de Vigilância a Saúde de Populações Expostas a Agrotóxicos, com ações a serem desenvolvidas pelas três esferas de governo. Nos municípios a Estratégia da Saúde na Família tem papel fundamental por atuar em áreas adstritas, mantendo um contato mais próximo com as famílias, fator que favorece o mapeamento, as ações e orientações e as pessoas expostas a agrotóxicos. No município de Chã Grande verifica-se um aumento gradativo de patologias que podem ser decorrentes da contaminação por agrotóxico, como por exemplo, as neoplasias. É proposta desse projeto ainda a parceria com outras secretarias do município e associações para fortalecer o trabalho educativo junto à população
Resumo em Inglês
The project shows the need to implement health surveillance of workers exposed to
pesticides in the routine actions of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) in the city of Chã
Grande - PE. Having the city a major source of income to traditional agriculture,
(which uses pesticides as common practice), the need arises aware of actions that
farmers and the general public of the risks to health and the environment regarding
the use of pesticides. Brazil is among the countries that use pesticides in the world,
in front of the Ministry of Health among other things created the Integrated Plan for
Monitoring the Health of Populations Exposed to Pesticides in action to be taken by
the three spheres of government. The municipal health strategies in the family plays
a fundamental role for working in areas attached keeping a close contact with
families, positive factor that favors the mapping guidelines and actions and those
exposed to pesticides. In the district of Chã Grande there is a gradual increase in
pathologies which may be a result of pesticide contamination, eg, cancer. It is
proposed that the project has partnered with other departments of the municipality
and associations to strengthen the educational work among the population.
