Abstract
Means the surveillance as a set of actions that provide the knowledge, detection or
prevention of any change in the determinants and constraints of individual or
collective health, with the purpose of recommending and adopting measures to
prevent and control diseases or aggravation. Certain characteristics are essential to
ensure quality throughout the Epidemiological Surveillance System and this presents
a good performance, they are: opportunity, timeliness, availability and coverage.
Depending on the needs of the programs of control of some diseases, other
complementary information systems have been developed by Cenepa, such as FAD
(Information System of the yellow fever and dengue), these data record of infestation
by Aedes aegypti, the level municipal, and other operating data of the program. This
action plan therefore provides the ecosystem approach to health and consequently
dengue, such abrodagem provides three methodological pillars: trans-disciplinary
research, involving all the stakeholders and social and gender equity. Dengue fever
is characterized as an acute febrile illness, the course may be benign or severe,
depending on how you present: silent infection, classic dengue (DC), dengue
hemorrhagic fever (DHF) or dengue shock syndrome (DSS ). In actuality it is the
most important arbovirus that affects humans and is a serious public health problem
worldwide. Their occurrence is mainly in tropical countries, where environmental
conditions favor the development and proliferation of Aedes aegypti, the principal
mosquito vector. This action paln aims to develop an intervention program in Dealing
with cases of dengue in São José do Belmonte from the Ecosystem Approach of
Human Health, and through tahat mobiliza the community to eradicate the vector,
along with the professionals health, responsible for ensuring the health education as
a priority intervention
