Abstract
One of the most common neurologic disorders directly associated with HIV infection, which is also one
of the most disabling diseases associated with AIDS, is HIV dementia (HIVD). This case illustrates that it is
possible to observe a correlation between cognitive improvement and resolution of neuroimaging abnormalities.
