Observamos, no
This research report has as its theme the study of the implementation of an investigative
methodology linked to the improvement of science teaching and its possible interaction with other
disciplines. We conducted an ethnographic study that included a follow-up evaluation in order to verify
the educational contribution in terms of stimulating inquiry, criticism and also the development of oral
and written arguments, besides the socioaffective objectives. We have noted, in the process of teaching
and learning in science, the development of concrete proposals for action especially related to the
quality of life and the improvement of the environment inhabited by students. Additionally, our
work contributed to social inclusion, with the acceptance of differences between students. The
evaluation showed that the investigative methodology in science collaborated to promote scientific and
cultural literacy, which means the combination of a cognitive literacy to a work increasingly committed
to citizenship.
