Introdução: A Rede Brasileira de Avaliação de Tecnologias (Rebrats) tem o propósito de disseminar estudos no campo da avaliação para incorporação e gestão de tecnologias no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Foi criada em 2008 e atualmente conta com cerca de 80 instituições membros. Os estudos produzidos por esses componentes devem estar incluídos no sistema de informação denominado Sisrebrats. Objetivo: Compreender a capacidade de produção das instituições-membro da rede a partir dos estudos concluídos publicados no Sisrebrats. Metodologia: Análise quantitativa dos estudos de Avaliação de Tecnologias em Saúde (ATS) concluídos no período de 2009 a 2015, segundo instituição, ano, unidade federativa, tipo de estudo e tipo de financiamento. Discussão dos Resultados: Foram identificados 256 estudos (114 pareceres técnico-científicos – PTCs, 73 revisões sistemáticas, 23 avaliações econômicas em saúde, 8 estudos em Gestão de Tecnologias em Saúde e 38 estudos classificados como outro tipo de ATS), desenvolvidos por 36 instituições-membro da Rebrats. O número de estudos concluídos publicados se manteve estável ao longo do período estudado (47 a 52), exceto nos anos 2010 e 2011 que estiveram abaixo dos demais (18 e 25, respectivamente). As instituições com maior capacidade produtiva foram: Centro Cochrane do Brasil (50 revisões sistemáticas), DECIT/MS (22 PTCs, 1 revisão sistemática e 14 estudos classificados como outro tipo de ATS) e UFMG (31 PTCs e 3 estudos classificados como outro tipo de ATS). Refletindo esse cenário, os estados com maior produção de ATS foram São Paulo (n=104), Minas Gerais (n=49) e Distrito Federal (n=39). Destaca-se ainda a participação de outras 18 instituições de ensino. O tipo de financiamento predominante foi o público, através do DECIT/MS, em 171 estudos de ATS. Conclusão: A capacidade produtiva da rede tem aumentado ao longo dos anos. As três instituições que mais produziram estudos de ATS foram as primeiras instituições que se inscreveram na Rebrats. Paralelamente, a participação ativa da academia nesta rede e predomínio do financiamento público enfatiza sua importância para a produção e disseminação do conhecimento na área de ATS. As instituições-membro da Rebrats têm desenvolvido cada vez mais estudos de ATS com o objetivo de aperfeiçoar a tomada de decisão nos processos de avaliação e incorporação de tecnologias em saúde no SUS. O crescimento dessa rede aumenta sua capacidade de produção e a diversidade das instituições participantes, de modo que os estudos não dependam exclusivamente de um único centro de qualidade.
