This research aims to analyze the micropolitics regarding the work developed by the Health Teams of the Riverine Family (HtRF - or eSRF for its acronym in Portuguese). Amongst Amazonas's counties, Careiro was chosen to understand the performance of the HtRF because it is an environment characterized as floodplain, which presents the dynamics of the river’s ebb and flow, generating particularities in the execution of the services, in a place that favors invention and innovation. Cartography and the field diary were used as instruments for the data collection and this data was analyzed from the perspective of the Micropolitics of Work.
This research is important because it gives visibility to health promotion drives involving the riverside Amazon population and demonstrates how the territory generates implications in the dynamics of health related work, favoring reflections on the performance of public health policies in different social contexts.
