Abstract in Portuguese | O Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Integral à Família (PAIF) é o principal serviço
demandas.
Todas as demandas
consequentemente, amplie a visibilidade do trabalho realizado e a proteção social desta
| pt_BR |

Abstract | The Family Integral Protection and Assistance Service (PAIF) is the main social assistance service, offered exclusively by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS). The PAIF contributes to guaranteeing access to rights and services, both in the social assistance network, as well as in sectorial services and other public policies, especially in relation to access to health. This study aimed to analyze the factors associated with the agreement of a family follow-up plan in the PAIF of CRAS II Santa Marta in the municipality of Belford Roxo \2013 Rio de Janeiro, from 2005 to 2019, and respective demands. This is an exploratory cross-sectional study with individual data collection whose data were extracted from attendance records. The analyzed variables were related to the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of the responsible family members, the family demands and the type of care provided by the PAIF. The prevalence ratio was calculated to investigate the factors influencing the PAIF family follow-up plan agreement. 9,085 families were registered in the period, and the technical team assisted only 118. Of these, 388 follow-ups were carried out, of which 7.2% with an agreed follow-up plan. Only younger responsible family members were associated with the plan agreement (PR = 2.42; 95%CI: 1.08 \2013 5.41). All demands related to social difficulties and of family relationships, however, agreed to follow up. It is expected that the study will contribute to the improvement of the team for better care and adequate inclusion of the most vulnerable population in the service, and consequently, increase the visibility of the work carried out and the social protection of this population so that access to citizenship be assured.
