Resumo
O presente estudo trata-se dos fatores motivacionais e higiênicos da
Teoria de Frederick Herzberg. O trabalho consistiu na aplicação de um
questionário para os servidores da Anvisa matriculados nas quatro turmas do
Curso de Especialização em Vigilância Sanitária - ano 2008, Brasília – Distrito
Federal. O objetivo do trabalho era identificar nas turmas quais fatores
motivacionais e higiênicos da Teoria de Herzberg eram predominantes. O
resultado do trabalho mostrou que dos doze fatores pesquisados, os quatro
primeiros preponderantes são motivacionais. Com relação aos fatores
higiênicos chamou atenção o índice elevado de servidores que responderam
nos intervalos de 0 a 10 sobre a falta de competência da chefia e condições do
ambiente de trabalho. Segundo a literatura os fatores higiênicos são passíveis
de intervenção e correção pelos gestores. O resultado geral apontado pelo
estudo demonstrou que o grupo de servidores pesquisados possui perfil
motivacional elevado. Para a Anvisa isso é importante pois, a motivação é uma
característica fundamental para o desempenho profissional satisfatório dos
trabalhadores nas organizações tanto públicas como privadas, o que muito
ajudará a ANVISA no cumprimento de sua missão.

The present study addresses the motivational factors and hygienic of the
theory of Frederick Herzberg. The work consisted in an application of a
questionnaire to the Anvisa’s servers registered on the four classes of Curso
de Especializaçao em Vigilância Sanitária (Specialization Course in disease
surveillance) - in 2008, Brasília – Federal District. The work objective was
to identify in the classes which motivational factors and care of the theory
of Herzberg were predominant. The outcome of the study showed that of
the twelve factors studied, the first four are predominant motivation. With
regard to the hygienic factors drew attention the high levels of servers the
answer in the intervals of 0 to 10 about the lack of competence of
leadership and conditions of the working environment. According the
literature the care factors are liable to intervention and correction by
managers. The general result pointed by the study demonstrated that the
servers groups searched have high profile motivational. To the Anvisa this
is important because the motivation is a key feature to the satisfactory
professional performance of workers in organizations both public and
private, which will help a lot the Anvisa in carrying out their mission.
