Vegetables with healing and emollient action, indicated in the treatment of skin dysfunctions, have been researched. The objective of this research was the production of an emulsified system containing Stryphnodendron adstringens (Mart.) Coville (Fabaceae) and Rosa aff. rubiginosa (Rosaceae) and the study of accelerated stability. Nonionic emulsions were produced by studying the physicochemical and microbiological stability. Plastic packaging and glass were used for storage, with evaluation at different times (zero, 15, 30 and 60 days) and temperature conditions. The emulsion produced was viscous, homogeneous, opaque, with slightly brownish color, woody odor, slightly unctuous to the touch and pH (4.0-5.0). The two batches evaluated for stability remained stable under refrigeration. In plastic packaging there were changes in appearance (15 days), both at room temperature and oven. In glass packaging, the appearance change occurred in only one replicate (30 days). The organoleptic characteristics of the formulation were modified in oven for plastic packaging (15 days) and for glass packaging (30 days). The pH remained between 4.0-5.0 for 60 days. There was no growth of any microorganism. It was concluded that temperature was determinant for stability and that glass packaging provided greater protection to the formulation.
