Abstract
The current study aims to comprehend how black women living on the streets in the neighborhood of Manguinhos in Rio de Janeiro perceive racist expressions in their daily interactions in order to relate these expressions to the suffering described by them. Black women in the streets are one of the most vulnerable groups in society, facing everyday violence crossed by the processes of precariousness of life. This is why the research's orientations and analysis begin by looking under black women and the streets. In this piece, the black feminine is represented through the narratives of Carolina Maria de Jesus, which served as a bridge between black femininity and whiteness, while Exu, through an afrocentric lens, introduces the idea of the street. According to this construction, the use of "escrevivência" enabled the creation of a work of literature that incorporates the individual and collective existence of the black woman throughout the fieldwork interactions. The goal is to create spaces and pathways where each "body-voice" of black women creates a sense of existence from their narratives in order to build potential dialogues about the production of health care.
