Este trabalho de conclusão de residência relata a experiência de um estágio realizado na Área Técnica de Saúde Bucal (ATSB) da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado da Bahia (SESAB). O objetivo foi compreender os fluxos e serviços de saúde bucal e obter experiência em gestão de saúde. A metodologia empregada envolveu a observação direta dos processos de implantação de Centros de Especialidades Odontológicas (CEOs) e Laboratórios Regionais de Prótese Dentária (LRPDs), além de participação em análise de projetos, criação de documentos oficiais, reuniões regionais e apresentações educacionais. Por fim, os resultados aqui apresentados servem como evidências do valor dessa experiência, tanto para a formação profissional quanto para o avanço da saúde bucal na Bahia.
Abstract
This residency completion work reports the experience of an internship carried out in the Technical Area of Oral Health (ATSB) of the Health Department of the State of Bahia (SESAB). The objective was to understand oral health flows and services and gain experience in health management. The methodology used involved direct observation of the implementation processes of Dental Specialty Centers (CEOs) and Regional Dental Prosthesis Laboratories (LRPDs), in addition to participation in project analysis, creation of official documents, regional meetings and educational presentations. Finally, the results presented here serve as evidence of the value of this experience, both for professional training and for
the advancement of oral health in Bahia.
