Objetivo: analisar desafios do contexto atual enfrentados por pessoas soropositivas para o Vírus Linfotrópico T Tipo 1 Humano na implementação das recomendações de inibição do aleitamento humano, bem como identifica as estratégias de comunicação e educação em saúde que contribuem para informar a importância de sua inibição. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, seguindo seis etapas, utilizando as bases de dados Medline, Lilacs, Periódicos Capes e Catálogo Mourisco/Fiocruz, abrangendo estudos de 2014 a 2024. Resultados: pessoas soropositivas enfrentam dificuldades, como o acesso restrito às fórmulas lácteas e a falta de conhecimento sobre o Vírus Linfotrópico T Tipo 1 Humano, dificultando a implementação de recomendações para evitar a transmissão pelo leite humano. Os artigos discutem estratégias de comunicação e educação para conscientizar sobre os riscos do aleitamento. Conclusões: a prevenção do Vírus Linfotrópico T Tipo 1 Humano no aleitamento enfrenta barreiras socioeconômicas e culturais, exigindo estratégias de comunicação e educação eficazes.
Abstract
Objective: analyzes the challenges currently faced by people who are positive for Human T-Lymphotropic Virus Type 1 in implementing recommendations for inhibiting breastfeeding and identifies communication and health education strategies that contribute to informing people about the importance of inhibiting breastfeeding. Method: this is an integrative review, following six steps, using the Medline, Lilacs, Capes Journals and Mourisco/Fiocruz Catalog databases, covering studies from 2014 to 2024. Results: positive people face difficulties, such as restricted access to milk formulas and lack of knowledge about Human T-Lymphotropic Virus Type 1, making it difficult to implement recommendations to prevent transmission through human milk. The articles discuss communication and education strategies to raise awareness about the risks of breastfeeding. Considerations: prevention of Human T-Lymphotropic Virus Type 1 in breastfeeding faces socioeconomic and cultural barriers, requiring effective communication and education strategies.
