Pensar o lugar das imagens nas pesquisas em história pode ser um movimento interessante sobretudo numa publicação que reúne pesquisadores de diferentes formações, como também pela oportunidade de analisarmos práticas diferenciadas e pela possibilidade de circunstanciá-las. Sendo assim, o artigo tem como objetivo apresentar elementos para uma reflexão sobre imagens produzidas sobre a Exposição de Paris de 1889.
Abstract
Reflecting about the role of images in historical research can be an interesting approach, specially in a publication brin-ging together researchers from different backgrounds. It also opens up a possibility to think about different practices and un-derstand their circumstances. With this in mind, the article aims at presenting ele-ments for a reflection on images produced about the 1889 Paris exhibition.
