| Abstract | The objective of this review was the collection of recent articles on the
biological activities of the essential oils of some plants of the Lamiaceae
family, since Brazil is rich in plants of this family and they have not been
extensively studied. The antioxidant, bactericidal, fungicidal and insecticidal
