Abstract in Portuguese
Introdução: A leptospirose, uma doença infecciosa de notificação compulsória, vem
apresentando altas taxas de morbi-mortalidade no Brasil, devido à rápida urbanização e
aumento da pobreza nas cidades. Nós analisamos os dados do sistema nacional de
vigilância epidemiológica da leptospirose, determinando sua carga de doença e
identificando grupos com alto risco para complicações graves e letalidade.
