Introdução: O desenvolvimento de novas drogas antichagásicas é uma área crucial para
o combate da doença desde que o Benznidazol é ineficaz na fase crônica e de toxicidade
pronunciada. Um dos mais promissores alvos para o desenho de drogas tripanocidas é a
enzima cruzaína do T. cruzi.
