As práticas tradicionais de cura estão no cerne da cultura Baniwa, povo indígena do Alto Rio Negro, Amazonas. São os saberes míticos dos Baniwa que orientam suas concepções de saúde e doença e que direcionam as ações de cura dos conhecedores de plantas, dos pajés e dos benzedores. Qual é o espaço de reconhecimento destes saberes hoje? O documentário busca o sentido de permanência dessas práticas no atual contexto de contato.
