Description | Edição bilíngue: português e munduruku. Ilustrado por Mauricio Negro. | en_US |
| en_US |

Abstract | The work was born from a project and partnership with FIOCRUZ concerned with the advancement of contamination of the Munduruku population by mercury used by miners in the extraction of gold. For a week, Daniel Munduruku and his team stayed in Itaituba teaching text and illustration workshops to put together teaching and literary material to help this population understand the phenomenon. The literary result is the book Sawé, which suggests a dialogue between a boy and his creative ancestor who responded to his invitation to see the result of human interference in the environment, making it unviable for his favorite children. The book is a gentle but powerful read, in dialogue with the illustrations by Maurício Negro, a partner in many literary adventures. Come and learn more about this story that speaks to the hearts not only of children, but to the childhood that resides in every sensitive human. | en_US |
