Abstract in Portuguese
O artigo enfoca os manuais e guias produzidos no Brasil dirigidos a agentes comunitários de saúde. Partimos da hipótese que estes materiais contribuem na produção da sociabilidade contemporânea, ao funcionarem como espaço político-discursivo de constituição de sujeitos como trabalhadores, como participantes da “sociedade civil/comunidade” e como cidadãos, sob a lógica do capital. A análise, de caráter preliminar, considera os materiais à luz da abordagem do discurso de matriz marxista, buscando identificar, nestes, a produção discursivo-ideológica das concepções de trabalho (comunitário), participação e comunicação. O artigo aponta ainda que tais concepções podem se vincular, por sua vez, a discursos hegemônicos sobre a relação entre “Estado” e “sociedade civil/comunidade”. A análise corrobora, assim, a hipótese mencionada, indicando como manuais e guias de saúde atuam na afirmação de formas de comunicação, na naturalização de sentidos sobre “ser trabalhador” e ser cidadão participante, e na legitimação das políticas públicas de saúde em curso.
