Conhecida como câncer do sangue, a leucemia é uma doença que acomete cerca de dez mil pessoas por ano no Brasil, segundo o Instituto Nacional do Câncer, o INCA. Apesar de ser uma doença grave, em muitos casos a cura total pode ser alcançada, mesmo sem transplante de medula. Hoje no ligado você vai entender como a doença acontece, o processo da quimioterapia e em quais casos o transplante é indicado.
