O PAPEL DA TÉCNICA DE TRANSFERÊNCIA EMBRIONÁRIA NO RESULTADO DOS CICLOS DE FERTILIZAÇÃO IN VITRO

O objetivo deste estudo é investigar que fatores relacionados à técnica de transferência embrionária (TE) podem interferir no resultado da fertilização in vitro(FIV). Os fatores analisados foram: o tempo do procedimento, a posição dos embriões na cavidade uterina e se houve alguma intercorrência durante procedimento, tais como: troca do cateter, toque deste no fundo uterino e a presença de sangue ou persistência de embriões na cateter após a TE. Materiais e métodos:Análise retrospectiva dos ciclos de FIV da clínica ORIGEN, Rio de Janeiro, realizados entre março de 2002 e novembro de 2005. A TE (2 a 4 embriões tipo I ou II) foi realizada no segundo dia após a inseminação dos óvulos ( pela técnica de ICSI). Todas as TEs foram acompanhadas por ultra-sonografia pélvica. O cateter foi escolhido de acordo com teste prévio feito no dia da captação oocitária. O BhCG foi solicitado 12 dias após a TE: caso positivo, duas ultra-sonografias foram realizadas na 5º e 6º semanas de gestação.Resultados: Foram analisados 552 ciclos de FIV, e não houve associação estatisticamente significativa das variáveis relacionadas à técnica de TE com as taxas de implantação, gravidez, gravidez clínica, bioquímica e abortamento. Conclusão: O presente estudo demonstra que não há interferência do tempo de duração da transferência, posição do embrião na cavidade uterina ou da presença das intercorrências analisadas durante o procedimento no resultado dos ciclos de Fertilização in vitro.
