A farmácia hospitalar é responsável por diversas atividades com influência no cuidado à saúde de pacientes hospitalizados. Este estudo objetivou desenvolver indicadores de resultado para a farmácia hospitalar brasileira a partir do modelo lógico construído para a investigação intitulada Diagnóstico da Farmácia Hospitalar no Brasil. A metodologia dividiu-se em duas etapas. A primeira, uma revisão bibliográfica observando todas as publicações disponíveis nas bases Medline e Lilacs com data anterior a janeiro de 2005, permitiu aprimorar as definições enunciadas no modelo lógico e discutir a produção científica relacionada à farmácia hospitalar brasilleira direcionada à internação, ampliando a visão sobre características e prioridades deste setor. A segunda etapa metodológica abrigou o método de consenso Delfos. Participaram 22 especialistas de quatro regiões brasileiras.Destes, 15 responderam os quatro instrumentos enviados por e-mail. Foi possível enunciar 20 indicadores, advindos de 22 critérios, agrupados segundo aspecto da qualidade a ser avaliado no serviço. As contribuições do grupo permitiram explicitar melhor o objetivo de quatro componentes do modelo lógico.Estima-se que a construção de indicadores compostos para a farmácia hospitalar com base nos aspectos de qualidade permitiria traduzir melhor sua contribuição no cuidado à saúde de pacientes hospitalizados.
