The results showed that the professionals interviewed were able to identify the relationship between the development of the Syndrome and exposure to occupational stressors, in addition to indicating exhaustion as the main manifestation. The assistance pressure and the devaluation of the problem by the management were listed as main stressors. Regarding the consequences, discouragement as a consequence for themselves and insensitivity to the patient's demands as consequences for the service, appeared as the main impacts of the disease. Respondents recognized the fear of contamination and the possibility of transmission to close contacts as new elements brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Regarding the management possibilities, physical activity was pointed out as an effective measure by most of the interviewees. On the other hand, 70% of the interviewees reported not having tried the management measures proposed by the management. In view of the complexity of the subject and of the Family Physician's operating scenario, the need for more in-depth studies is confirmed, including involving the field of Occupational Health to better explore the theme.
