A publicação analisa hábitos e costumes de trabalhadores paulistanos entre as décadas de 1920 e 1960, reconstituindo uma vivência capaz de dimensionar aspectos da alimentação popular, da habitação, de processos econômicos e da geografia da cidade de São Paulo.

Review of the book “Food, material life and privacy: a social history of workers in São Paulo in the 1920s to 1960s”, by Jaime Rodrigues. The publication analyzes habits and customs of São Paulo workers between the 1920s and 1960s, reconstructing an experience capable of scaling aspects of popular food, housing, economic processes and the geography of the city of São Paulo.
