Abstract in Portuguese | A utilização de produtos com fins medicinais a base da planta Cannabis sativa tem sido cada vez mais estudada. Estão disponíveis no Brasil, atualmente, um medicamento e dez produtos de cannabis autorizados pela Anvisa, além dos produtos de importação individual e os fornecidos por associação de pacientes. Uma vez que são utilizados para fins terapêuticos, o controle de qualidade destes produtos é essencial para garantir que estes cumprem os requisitos de qualidade, pureza e segurança. Neste sentido, evidencia-se a importância de métodos para análise de teor dos princípios ativos canabidiol (CBD) e tetrahidrocanabinol (THC), além de suas substâncias relacionadas. Ressalta-se ainda, a importância do controle de THC, visto que é uma substância psicoativa. Apesar do crescente uso, não há monografia para avaliação de canabinoides na Farmacopeia Brasileira (FB) nem em outros compêndios aceitos no Brasil, de acordo com a RDC nº 511/2021. Portanto, este trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver um método rápido e de fácil aplicação para quantificação de canabinoides em produtos para fins medicinais. O método foi desenvolvido por CLAE-UV, com fase estacionária C18 (150 x 4,6mm, 5µm), eluição em gradiente da fase móvel composta por 0,1% de ácido fórmico em acetonitrila e em água, fluxo de 0,6 mL.min-1 e detecção no comprimento de onda de 220nm, no qual foram possíveis resolver os picos de CBD, THC, ácido canabidiólico e canabinol. O preparo das amostras se deu pela utilização de etanol:água (95:5) como solvente de extração e etapas de agitação por inversão, vórtex e ultrassom, além de centrifugação. O método desenvolvido foi aplicado em dois produtos e cumpriu os requisitos estabelecidos de precisão, exatidão e seletividade. Visto a importância de um método farmacopeico para estabelecer requisitos mínimos de qualidade de medicamentos e produtos para fins medicinais e considerando a quantidade destes produtos disponíveis no Brasil, conclui-se que se faz importante a avaliação da implementação do método desenvolvido em outros produtos para uma futura validação, com intuito de sua inserção na FB | en_US |
