Abstract
We read with great interest the study authored by Angeletti et al. regarding the role of nonstructural proteins nsp2 and nsp3 in the pathogenesis of COVID-191 . COVID-19 emerged in December 2019 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and is caused by a novel viral variant belonging to the viral variant belonging to the Severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus (SARS-rCoV) species of subgenus Sarbecovirus, genus Betacoronavirus, family Coronaviridae and named SARS-CoV-22.
