Essa dissertação tem por objeto de pesquisa a formação do movimento agroecológico na cidade do Rio de Janeiro da década de 1970 até o ano de 1985. O objetivo da investigação foi compreender os anos iniciais do movimento em suas ações de defesa da saúde humana e ambiental, suas ideias e propósitos, seus principais atores, e as articulações locais e nacionais que contribuíram para a sua consolidação a partir da criação da cooperativa Coonatura, em 1979

This dissertation has as its research object the formation of the agroecological movement in the city of Rio de Janeiro from the 1970s to the year 1985. The objective of the study was to understand the initial years of the movement in its actions to defend human health and environmental health, its ideas and purposes, its main actors, and the local and national articulations that contributed to its consolidation from the creation of the Coonatura cooperative, in 1979
